Kid’s Ministry

Children play a vital role in the ministry and worship of SPC. We not only offer a learning opportunity for them through Sunday School, special activities, and seasonal choirs, but we also offer and expect children to take part in weekly worship.  We do, however, offer a nursery for infants and children through Pre-K as well as "children's church" for Kindergarten through 5th grade students in our fellowship hall.  Because we desire for children of all ages to participate in the morning worship service, we release these children as follows:

Children through Pre-K are escorted to the nursery following the "Children's message."

Students Kindergarten through 5th Grade and their leaders exit to the chapel following the anthem.

Family is important and the children are a part of our church family. Some weeks it is not unusual to see Grandparent and Grandchild ushering together or greeting together. Often our older children serve in supportive mentoring roles through children's church and nursery help.  Our children participate in special project times to make greetings for our shut-ins, and in the summer go on trips to Fairystone Park, bowling, and other activities.

During the summer, Vacation Bible School is held for Nursery - Grade 5.

Youth Ministry

Stuart Presbyterian Church Youth Group
Grades 6–12

At Stuart Presbyterian Church, our Youth Group is a vibrant, welcoming space for students in grades 6–12 to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and live out their calling in Christ. We exist to:

  • REACH – Share the Good News and make disciples (Evangelism)

  • SHARE – Learn and live out God’s Word (Discipleship)

  • OFFER – Worship God with our whole hearts (Worship)

  • SERVE – Love others through acts of service (Ministry)

  • CARE – Support one another in community (Fellowship)

These five purposes are rooted in Matthew 22:37–40 and Matthew 28:19–20.

When We Meet
Youth Group typically gathers on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month during the school calendar year from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for fellowship, Bible study, and fun activities.
